(Estherville)-The Annual Flight Breakfast will be held in Estherville Thursday morning. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Estherville Chamber of Commerce will host the 75th Annual Flight Breakfast on the 4th of July.
Executive Director Lexie Ruter says, the event will go on rain or shine. “Unfortunately the forecast for Thursday doesn’t look the best for all the 4th of July celebrations. Luckily for us, we can do everything pretty much inside. We will have everything inside the hangar from 7 to 11 a.m. We will have a pancake breakfast and along with that we’ll have free kid’s face painting, free glitter tattoos and a bounce house all located inside the hangar. So, whether it’s raining or if it’s sunny, we will be able to go ahead with all of those aspects of our event.”
She adds that all of the activities are free with the exception of the breakfast. “Everything is open from 7 to 11 a.m. out at the Estherville Airport. The prices for breakfast are Adults 12 and up are $10, children 4 through 11 are $5 and then children 3 and under are free. There are plane rides available for purchase otherwise everything else is free with breakfast.”
