Are you looking to add native plants to your green space, or want to learn more
about native flowers? Join Dickinson County Nature Center staff for Kenue Coffee Hour on Thursday,
September 4th, at 10:30 a.m. Sarah and Troy Davelaar, owners of Siouxland Prairie Farms, will be
speaking about their business and planting native flowers.
Attendees can also look forward to purchasing native plants at the program and also the
following day, on September 5th, at Dee’s Bee and Butterfly Festival from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
“Adding native plants to your space is a great way to get directly involved in conservation,” said
Amy Heibult, community relations coordinator of the Dickinson County Conservation Board. “Even if it
seems like a small act, it can make an incredible difference.”
