Looking for a fun and educational evening with the family?…
Teens! Get some friends together to test your skills in a free escape-room style event
on Monday, March 23rd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Teens will take on some friendly competition, solve puzzles,
and build teamwork.
WILD Roots (Wilderness Inspired Leadership Development) is a free teen program hosted by the
Dickinson County Nature Center to foster friendships, learn new outdoor recreation and land
stewardship skills, and develop leadership qualities. WILD Roots teens are also invited to volunteer at
designated programs to gain experience in the conservation education field and to develop positive
character qualities.
Registration is required to attend each WILD Roots event and the deadline to sign up for the
Spring Soirée is 5 PM on March 20th. There are two more opportunities to join in WILD Roots events on
June 1st and July 20th (registration required, no cost to attend) and various monthly opportunities to
volunteer at educational programs.
