The Lakes Ice Arena will host a special figure skating exhibition tonight (Friday, March 13) featuring the Blue Mound Figure Skaters from Luverne, Minnesota. The performance will showcase a variety of individual and group figure skating routines. This marks the first time the Lakes Ice Area will host a figure skating exhibition, offering community members a unique opportunity to experience a live figure skating show in the Lakes Area.
The event will also serve as a finale event for the inaugural season for Lakes Area Figure Skating. In their first year under the direction of Figure Skating Director Madison Ruesch, LAFS works with local skaters to develop figure skating skills and grow interest in figure skating in the Lakes Area.
Tonight’s exhibition will promptly begin at 7:00pm and is open to the public. Admission is $5.00, concessions will be available
and community members are encouraged to attend to support the skaters.
