Ricky Jeppesen, 37, of Spirit Lake passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, due to complications from a medical condition at his home in Spirit Lake.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford, IA. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be held at a later date in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Worthington, MN. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robinson Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Ricky was born on October 11, 1988, in Worthington, MN, to Jay and Kimberly (Hovland) Jeppesen. He graduated from Sibley Ocheyedan High School. Ricky worked in the family business, Jeppesen Gravel, where he could be found tinkering in the shop and rebuilding things for the company. He also enjoyed operating the heavy equipment.
He is survived by his brother Alan (Mara) Jeppesen; sisters Katie (Kasey) Schafer; Tena (Brenden) Nelson; Marie (Mike) Johnson; and Anita (Kirby) Marden; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
