Mary Beck, 93, of Okoboji, IA, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at her home surrounded by her children in Okoboji.

Mary Ellen Beck was born on August 16, 1932, in Brewster, MN, to Edwin and Helen (Chermak) Luther. She graduated from Brewster High School in Brewster, MN, and attended the University of Minnesota. She was united in marriage to W.E. Beck, Jr. on September 25, 1975. Mary owned and operated her design and retail store, Merry Bee, in Okoboji.
Mary was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Spirit Lake and was a member of the National T.T.T. Society. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking for family and friends and decorating.
She is survived by her children, Kim Ramert of Okoboji, IA; Brett (Michele) Ramert of Minneapolis, MN; and Duff Ramert (Felix Guzman) of Alhambra, CA; grandchildren, Michael, William, Ben, Bryce and Kyle; siblings Alan (Lois) Luther, Alice Kluver, James (Doreen) Luther and John (Judy) Luther.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, daughter Nickie, her sister Lois (Arlo) Puck, her sister Carol Luther and brother-in-law Dale Kluver.
