(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson county board of supervisors Tuesday unanimously approved a new agreement with the city of Milford for collecting recyclable materials.
Terms of the new agreement call for the county to increase the amount of money it reimburses to the city in exchange for allowing rural residents to drop off items at the city’s site.
Under the previous agreement, the county was paying 100-dollars a month to the city. The new agreement increases that to 160-dollars a month.
The city requested the increased reimbursement after the firm it contracts with to haul the material increased its fees.
