SL-O Boys Tennis Coach Dan Taylor:

Today we chose to have some of our usual varsity singles players rest, both to keep them fresh for districts on Thursday and to give some younger guys on the team an opportunity to play in a varsity meet. And I was very happy to see the younger guys perform well! This was the first varsity match for Chase Kruse and Jordan Koenick in singles, and Drew Hickerson and Ben Newman in doubles, and they all handled the situation very well. I thought Cherokee played really solid doubles today-Kyler and Karson really had to fight to get a win in the super tiebreak. Fortunately they pulled it out so they could keep their perfect 8-0 Mark together in tact heading into the district tournament.
