Comments From Okoboji Coach Ryan Stumbo:
"The guys played hard all night long, and we saw some good foundational pieces to build on tonight, particularly on the offensive end. I thought we shot the ball decently and had great contributions by a lot of different guys tonight. Give credit to Sioux Center as they really made us work defensively. They shot the ball well all night and also worked their inside game. Cade Bleeker deserves a lot of credit has he had a great game and made consistent stops difficult for us. Despite the final score, this game made us better, and there is a lot from this opening game for us to use and focus on as we prepare for our upcoming games. We have a determined group of hard working guys, and we are looking forward to seeing how this game helps us grow, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.
