S-O's Carlson to run track at Northwestern
Jada Carlson (Ashton, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her track and field career at Northwestern College next year.
Carlson is a 5’6” sprinter/hurdler who is in her fourth year competing for Sibley-Ocheyedan High School. Carlson qualified for the state meet in multiple events three straight years, finishing fourth as a member of the shuttle hurdle relay as a sophomore. She is also a two-time Drake Relays qualifier and holds the school record in the 100m hurdles and 4x100 and shuttle hurdle relays. She is also a state qualifier in cross country. She plans to major in physical education at Northwestern and is the daughter of Peter and Angie.
