Comments From Head Coach Ryan Stumbo

We were very proud of the team effort tonight and how so many guys contributed in different ways. Central Lyon did a nice job clogging up opportunities with a triangle and two, but we had enough guys step up and hit shots that we were able to maintain momentum and a lead throughout most of the game. Kyle Martin was an absolute difference maker in the game tonight. He shot extremely well and made strong hustle plays all night. Lucas Lorenzen was really solid and hit big shots throughout the game. Tyler Adams had some really important 3's, and Jamison Helmers had a really solid performance getting to the paint, setting his teammates up, and hitting looks he got from the perimeter. We shot really well from the free throw line all night, but Jamison's free throws late were clutch. He is very confident on the line and did a great job of making a play to give us a chance at the lead after Central Lyon had tied it up. Give Central Lyon credit for the way they closed the game. We were fortunate and glad we did just enough to come away with a win.
