Comments From Head Coach John Adams
“We are so proud of this group for how they have continued to work hard, stay together and take ownership of this program. We had a great practice yesterday after a rough game at Sioux Center on Tuesday, and that really translated on the court tonight. We got down seven in the second quarter and didn’t panic at all. Our defense was fantastic tonight, holding a very explosive Emmetsburg team to just 36 points. Montana was great in the paint on both ends of the court and Olivia also hit some big shots for us. Ella Stoll played a fantastic all-around game, Makenna Helmers was really good on both ends of the court and Shayla Baschke continues to give us big minutes after coming back from her knee injury. Our bench also did a fantastic job as we battled foul trouble for much of the game but never dropped off. It’s great to see this group get rewarded with a win as they have definitely earned it through their hard work and dedication to our culture.”

Comments From Head Coach Ryan Stumbo
We were proud of the energy we brought tonight and our defensive effort. We worked hard to respond to our game on Tuesday and felt like we did a nice job of putting a complete game together. We saw the floor well offensively and were unselfish, which led to a lot of good reads and baskets for us. We also worked to guard for the duration of the game.
