McIlravy signs with Coe
CEDAR RAPIDS - After two seasons at Iowa Lakes Community College, Streeter McIlravy has signed a national letter of intent to attend Coe College to continue his academic and basketball career.
He played in 29 games as a freshman with the Lakers, starting in 27. McIlravy averaged 9.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 46 from the field and 87 percent from the free-throw line. He was an honorable mention selection on the all-Region 11 team.
He was a second-team all-region choice as a sophomore when he appeared in 32 games, averaging 9.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
McIlravy led NJCAA Division II in free-throw percentage this past season, making 66 of 72 attempts for 91.7 percent. He shot 43 percent from the field.
During his time at Iowa Lakes, the Lakers had a 45-18 record overall, 17-7 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play.
McIlravy has also earned all-Region academic honors in the fall of 2016, spring of 2017 and fall of 2017.
