Local regulars run at Knoxville 360 Nationals

KNOXVILLE – Several Jackson Motorplex regulars ran Thursday on the opening night of the 29th annual Knoxville 360 Nationals at Knoxville Raceway.

Thomas Kennedy (Winnipeg) was fifth in the A main, with Justin Henderson (Tea, S.D.) sixth and Dusty Zomer (Brandon) seventh.

Zomer set quick time and is the qualifying points leader after the first night.

Lee Grosz (Harwood, N.D.) was second in the B Main and 18th in the A, while Dusty Ballenger (Harrisburg, S.D.) was 13th in the B Main.

Ryan Giles (Grimes, Iowa) won the 21-lap A Main Thursday.

Among those qualifying Friday will be four drivers from the region, Kaleb Johnson (Sioux Falls), Matt Juhl (Tea), Clint Garner (Sioux Falls) and Elliot Amdahl (Flandreau).
