Laker men win sixth straight

MARSHALLTOWN – Seven players scored in double figures for the Iowa Lakes Community College men's basketball team as the Lakers won their sixth straight, beating the William Penn JV 131-65. ILCC has won six in a row after dropping its opener.

Kyle Beisch was 6-for-7 from three-point range and led the Lakers with 22 points.

Solomon Clayton added 17 points, while Jacob Rau had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Alex Rogers, Streeter McIlravy and Nick Wagner each had 11 points, with Ryan Girardi adding 10.

Iowa Lakes will host the Northwestern College JV at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
