Kikwaki signs with Southeastern Oklahoma State
DURANT, Okla. - Alan Kikwaki, a sophomore forward with the Iowa Lakes Community College men's basketball team, has signed a national letter of intent to play at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, an NCAA Division II school.
“I'm really excited and blessed to receive a full-ride scholarship, said Kikwaki, “It is one of the goals I told my self to achieve. I am really thankful for what Iowa Lakes brought me in my career, I learned a lot on the court and off the court.”
The 6-foot-7 Kikwaki is a native of Brussels Belgium. He averaged 9.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game as a sophomore.
He was named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 6-12.
“I'm very excited for Alan and his opportunity at Southeastern Oklahoma State,” said Iowa Lakes coach Troy Larson. “Alan worked hard and improved as much as any player that I have coached at Iowa Lakes. His ability to play both on the perimeter and the inside makes him a unique prospect. Excited to see how much better he gets and looking forward to following his career.”
