Jefferson 3rd in receiving in NFL
By The Associated Press
MINNEAPOLIS - Four games into his NFL career, wide receiver Justin Jefferson has made clear the Minnesota Vikings made wise use of the 22nd overall pick in the draft.
After a quiet first two games for Jefferson mirrored a rough start for the offense, offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak and Cousins made a concerted effort to get him more involved.
Jefferson had four catches for 103 yards in a 31-23 victory at Houston that was Minnesota's first of the season. He's third in the league with an average of 21.8 yards per reception.
