Iowa Lakes women win title; men 4th

FORT DODGE – Iowa Lakes Community College won the women's team title, while the men were fourth at the Iowa Central Spring Invitational that concluded Monday at Fort Dodge Country Club.

The Laker women had a 36-hole total of 702, with NIACC second with 739.

Erin Baum and Abby Stender tied for second with 172 totals. Annika DuMoulin and Alexia Kemper tied for eighth with 182.

Southwestern's Biaca Findlay was medalist with a 166.

The ILCC men had a 610 total to place fourth. Mount Mercy was first with 593.

Morgan Edwards led the Lakers as he tied for second with a 145.

Trace Jacobson tied for 18th (154), Carlton Rahn tied for 21st (155), Cameron Maxwell tied for 26th (156) and Joey Murphy placed 54th (169).

On the ILCC B team, Aaron James was sixth (148), Luke Sladek tied for 40th (162), Addison Bahr tied for 50th (167) and Nolan King 65th (182).
