ESTHERVILLE - Iowa Lakes Community College volleyball coach Mike Turnbull has announced that Bailee Batterson a middle hitter from Albia, has recently signed a letter of intent to attend ILCC and play volleyball for the Lakers.

Batterson is a 5-foot-10 hitter who will graduate from Moravia Community High School.

She was a three-year starter for the Mohawks and was her team’s offensive Most Valuable Player all three seasons.

Batterson also excels in the classroom as she has been on the “A” Honor Roll throughout high school. She plans to enroll in the Veterinary Medicine transfer program.

“We are very excited to have Bailee joining us.” said Turnbull. “I know making school choices and future plans during these trying times is not easy. I am elated that Bailee chose Iowa Lakes.”
