ILCC basketball teams fall to NDSCS

WAHPETON, N.D. - Both the Iowa Lakes Community College lost Saturday to the North Dakota State College of Science.

NDSCS won the women's game 72-66.

Mia Wassink had 14 points and six rebounds for the Lakers.

Calynn Jackson added 13 points and Marissa Ruiz 11, while Anjanea Simms and Lemia Ntor-Ue each added 10.

ILCC is 1-6 on the season. They'll host South Australia at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Iowa Lakes won the men's game 84-79 as the Lakers fall to 7-2.

Kyle Beisch and Nick Wagner scored 20 points apiece for ILCC. The Wildcats were led by Oman Oman with 20 points.

The Iowa Lakes men host Southeastern next Saturday.
