HLP's Meyer is second-team all-state

DES MOINES - Taylor Meyer of Harris-Lake Park has been named as a second-team selection on the all-state Class 1A volleyball team by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.

She was a junior with the Wolves this season.

Lakes Conference champion and state Class 2A runner-up Western Christian had two players honored, with Ashtyn  Veerbeek named to the first team and Jessi  DeJager being a second-team selection. Both are seniors.
