Fri 2-10-2017

Harris-Lake Park picked up a 62-53 non-conference basketball win over Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayshire on Friday night in Lake Park.  The Wolves built a 22-10 lead after one quarter only to see the Titans come storming back and make it a 32-30 H-LP lead at halftime.  The third quarter was not kind to either offense with the Wolves outscoring GT/RA 9-4 to take a 41-34 lead going into the fourth.  H-LP would make enough free throws down the stretch to come away with the nine point win.  Jordan Kyle led the Wolves with 21 points.  Bret Sohn added 13 points and was 8-for-8 from the free throw line.  H-LP is 9-11 and opens up district play on Thursday against West Sioux in George.  Hear the game on KUOO at 6:30.  Tom Geelan led all scorers with 23 for the Titans.  GT/RA is 7-13 and opens up district play on Monday in Hartley against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn.  You can also hear that game on KUOO after Hawk Talk around 8:30.
