HLP Girls Basketball Start Off Season With Win Over GT/RA
Harris-Lake Park used seven three pointers to beat Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayshire 45-24 in non-conference girls basketball on Tuesday night. The Wolves led 12-5 after one quarter and upped the lead to 25-11 at halftime. The Titans scored just three points in the third quarter allowing HLP to extend the lead to 35-14 heading into the final stanza. Freshman Jazmin Voehl led all scorers for the Wolves with 16. Taylor Park led the Titans with seven. Both teams had several turnovers in the contest. G TRA committed 25 turnovers while HLP had 23. The Wolves (1-0) travel to Kingsley-Piersen for another non-conference match up on Monday. Next up for the Titans is a trip to West Bend-Mallard on Tuesday.
