HLP Girls Basketball Opens Up Season Against GT/RA

A poor shooting night and too many turnovers doomed Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayshire’s chances at a win on Tuesday Night as Harris-Lake Park gradually pulled away for a 43-17 victory.  The Wolves led 8-2 after one quarter, 20-6 at halftime, and 34-9 after three.  The Titans had 31 turnovers in the contest compared to 19 for the Wolves.  Katherin Ihnen led all scorers for HLP with 15.  Grace Heikens and Mikaela Heikens each had 9.  Nichole Rowe had four steals.  HLP is 1-0 to start the season and travels to Okoboji on Thursday, December 4.  Taylor Park led the Titans with six points and four steals.  GTRA falls to 0-2.  They host West Bend-Mallard on Tuesday December 2nd on Y 100.
