H-LP Baseball Blanked By West Sioux
Harris-Lake Park saw its baseball season come to an end with a 10-0 loss at West Sioux in six innings. The Falcons scored three runs in the first, one in the second, two in the fourth, and four in the sixth. West Sioux pitchers Tucker Vander Feen, Jake Lynott, and Hunter Dekkers combined to give up no runs on just three hits. They struck out nine HLP batters in the contest. Dekkers was 3-for-3 with a walk, two RBI, and two runs scored for West Sioux, who improves to 21-5. They will host LeMars Gehlen Catholic in the Class 1A District 1 Final on Saturday. Bryce Perkins was 2-for-3 with two singles for the Wolves. H-LP's lone senior, Jordan Kyle, was 1-for-3 with a single and reached on an error in his final game. The Wolves season ends at 9-11.
