Comments from Coach John Adams
“We were worried about the energy we’d have this game after a long week of finals and with quite a bit of illness going around our team, but the girls came out and found a way to get the job done. Grace Wintz had a tremendous game and made some big time moves; Camry Jones was also dominant in the paint and got us going early with 10 first half points. Kallyn was great again as she had to stay patient with G-LR playing a box and one on her and she picked her time when to be aggressive and when to let her teammates take over. The great thing when teams want to do that is our other girls are really stepping up. We hate to have a break right now when we’re playing so well but definitely need it to get healthy and get some rest.”
