Comments From Okoboji Coach Ryan Stumbo:
I think credit needs to be given to Emmetsburg for hitting some outside shots throughout the course of the game and taking advantage of some good looks around the hoop tonight. Our outside shots were not falling as well tonight, and we had discipline mishaps at times on defense that did not allow us to ever get over the hump tonight. Our guys showed some nice spurts of some really good heart closing some runs Emmetsburg made, but we spent too much time playing catch up in the second half to get it done tonight. We will need to focus on elements of the game we did well and learn from some areas that need to improve as we begin the second round of conference play.
