Dover wins MSTS event at I-90
HARTFORD, S.D. - Jack Dover (Springfield, Neb.) won Saturday night's Midwest Sprint Touring Series feature event at I-90 Speedway.
It was his 28th career win with the MSTS for Dover, who is the defending points champion in the series.
Dover took the lead from Lee Grosz (Watertown, S.D.) on the seventh lap of the 25-lap main and led the rest of the way.
Grosz would finish second, Eric Lutz (Sioux Falls) made a last lap pass to take third, Elliot Amdahl (Flandreau, S.D.) finished fourth and Gregg Bakker (Sioux Falls) placed fifth.
The MSTS and Midwest Power Series had been scheduled to run at Jackson Motorplex next Friday, but that event is now listed as postponed. Both series will return to I-90 Speedway next Saturday.
John Lambertz (Sioux Falls) won the IMCA 305 Sprint Cars feature Saturday.
Elliot Amdahl (Flandreau) was second, Dusty Ballenger (Harrisburg) third, Ryan Voss (Okoboji) fourth and Tyler Drueke (Eagle, Neb.) fifth.
