Volunteers Needed to Assist with CLAMP Throughout the Summer

(Okoboji)-Volunteers are needed to assist with checking the water quality of Dickinson County lakes with the Cooperative Lakes Area Monitoring Project (CLAMP).
Coordinated by Iowa Lakeside Laboratory, participants need to have access to a boat and be able to donate approximately 12 hours of time over the summer. Free training and equipment are provided.
Volunteers are especially needed for the smaller lakes: Center Lake, Little Spirit Lake and Silver Lake.
Registration is required for the free training sessions to be held on Friday, May 27 from 10:00 a.m. to noon or from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.; Saturday May 28 10:00 to noon; Tuesday, May 31 from 10:00 a.m. to noon or Friday, June 3 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
All trainings held in the Waitt Water Quality Lab on the Lakeside Campus.
