Vehicle Collides With Storefront In Downtown Spencer

            (Spencer)-- No one was hurt Wednesday when a pickup collided with a storefront and light pole in downtown Spencer.

Police say 69-year-old James Adams of Sioux Rapids lost control of the vehicle, which traveled onto a sidewalk and collided with the front of the Miss Behavin shop at 307 Grand Avenue, along with a light pole.

Police estimate the building, merchandise and display items in the store sustained a combined $7,000 in damage. The pickup was totaled.

The crash happened shortly after 10:30 am.
