Vehicle Collides With Gravity Wagon Resulting In Minor Injuries
(Sibley)-- Minor injuries were reported Monday when a van collided with the rear of a gravity wagon in Osceola county.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office says 25-year-old Shea Driesen of Sibley was driving a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country southbound on Highway 60 near 260th Street. Driesen told deputies she dropped her cell phone and was attempting to pick it up. The vehicle then collided with the rear of a gravity wagon being pulled by a 2015 Case Maxxum driven by 35-year-old Justin Jacobs of Rushmore, Minnesota. Driesen's vehicle then swerved left and went into the median.
Driesen was taken to Osceola Community Hospital with minor injuries. No injuries were reported to Jacobs.
Damage to the vehicle driven by Driesen was estimated at $6,000; damage to the gravity wagon was put at about $3,000.
Driesen was cited for following too closely.
The Ashton Fire Department assisted on the scene.
