Two Vehicle Collision Sends One Person To A Hospital
(Hospers)-- One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision Wednesday at an intersection on Highway 60 near Hospers.
Authorities say 26-year-old Alexandra Fischer of Archer was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Impala westbound on a county road and had stopped at a stop sign. Deputies say Fischer then pulled into the path of a 2019 Kia Forte driven by Carlee McGuire of Sheldon, who was southbound on Highway 60. The impact of the collision caused McGuire's vehicle to go into the west ditch where it rolled.
McGuire was taken to the Orange City hospital. No injuries were reported to Fischer, who was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
