Two-Vehicle Collision In West Central Minnesota Injures Several People From Northwest Iowa

(Willmar, Mn.)-- An Estherville man sustained minor injuries in a two vehicle accident in West Central Minnesota yesterday (Sunday) morning.

According to a Minnesota State Patrol report, shortly after 11am, 59 year-old Curtis Trenary of Estherville was driving a 2007 Buick Rendezvous southbound and 26 year-old Austin Harrington of Hopkins, MN was driving a 2004 Mercedes Benz E320 westbound when the two collided at an intersection.

Troopers say Harrington had stopped at the intersection, then proceeded and was struck broadside by the Rendezvous.

Trenary, along with two passengers in his vehicle, 73 year-old Sharon Harrington of Rembrandt, IA and 67 year-old Alfred Trenary of Graettinger, IA were taken to a Willmar hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Austin Harrington and a minor passenger in the Trenary vehicle were not injured.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
