Two Motor Vehicle-Related Extensions Remain In Place Under Gov. Kim Reynolds' Proclamation Of Disaster Emergency That Was Recently Updated
(Spirit Lake)-- Two motor vehicle-related extensions remain in place under Governor Kim Reynolds' Proclamation of Disaster Emergency related to COVID-19 that was updated this past Friday. Dickinson County Treasurer Kris Rowley says they include driving for up to 90 days with temporary tags from a dealer while waiting for titling and/or plating, and overnight loads for motor carriers. She adds there are also active federal suspensions pertaining to commercial driver's licenses and commercial learner's permits.
Rowley reminds everyone that driver's licenses that expired beginning January 16th, 2020, and during the proclamation, are again subject to the printed expiration date on the license since January 9th, 2021.
