Two Men From Spirit Lake & Milford Arrested On Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop On I-29 In South Dakota
(Brookings, S.D.)-- Two area men were arrested last week in South Dakota on drug charges.
Authorities in Brookings county, South Dakota say a deputy pulled over a vehicle last Thursday as it was traveling southbound on Interstate 29 about five miles north of Brookings. Upon investigating deputies found cocaine, LSD, ecstasy, adderall, edible marijuana products and nearly 10 pounds of marijuana.
The two men, 19-year-old Jack Humphrey of Milford and 20-year-old John O'Neal of Spirit Lake, were arrested and charged with distribution of marijuana with intent to distribute, ingesting a substance to become intoxicated, felony ingestion of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were booked into the Brookings county jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
