(Spirit Lake)-- Trial for a Lake Park man charged in the March 11th armed robbery of Barb's Corner Restaurant has been pushed back to October 18th.

Trial for Joshua Mandelkow was originally set for August 16th.

Mandelkow was charged with 1st degree robbery, going armed with intent and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.

A vehicle matching that description was spotted by a citizen about 7 miles west of Fostoria. A pursuit ensued, but ended a short time later with Mandelkow sustaining a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Mandelkow was hospitalized in Rochester, Minnesota for several months.

He wasn't charged in the case until after he was released from the hospital on July 1st.
