Suspicious Person Investigation Results In Several Arrests
(Everly)-- What started out as an investigation into a report of a suspicious person in Everly has resulted in the arrests of three people.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office says it all started shortly before 8:00 am Monday when they received a report of a suspicious person. Upon investigating it was determined 26-year-old Gage Puterbaugh of Ruthven had entered a residence in the 300 block of East 2nd Street in Everly and that he was believed to be under the influence of methamphetamine. Puterbaugh was arrested and booked into jail on a charge of public intoxication.
Further investigation into the incident resulted in authorities obtaining a search warrant at 401 East 2nd Street in Everly. It resulted in them finding numerous controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
46-year-old Kevin Dillingham of Everly was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a prescription drug and possession of methamphetamine.
Also arrested was 47-year-old Jason Storey of Everly who was charged with possession of a prescription drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both Dillingham and Storey were booked into the Clay county jail.
