Suspects Wanted For Theft From Rock Rapids Subway & Stealing A Pickup Taken Into Custody In Nobles County
(Rock Rapids)-- Two Minnesota men are in custody in connection with a stolen pickup and the theft of some money from a Subway store in Rock Rapids.
The Lyon County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to the store around 10:30 am Wednesday after getting a report that two men had stolen some money and took off running.
A short time later authorities received a report that a 2000 Ford pickup had been stolen from the 100 block of North Story Street in Rock Rapids. About an hour later the pickup was stopped by the Minnesota State Patrol in Nobles county and the two men were arrested.
25-year-old Nicholas Stone of Brainerd, Minnesota and 23-year-old Marcus Maurstad of Onamia, Minnesota were being held at the Nobles county jail. Warrants have been issued for both men charging them with theft in the 4th degree and theft in the 2nd degree.
