Summer classes at Iowa Lakes Community College begin May 18

Summer Classes will begin online for students May 18 at Iowa Lakes Community College.

College President Valerie Newhouse says students can still sign up for classes this week.  "They can still get signed up for any of the classes we have this summer.  We have a variety of arts and science classes, these are transfer-level classes that work well for students who have maybe taken classes at another location and are home for the summer or staying put where they're at.  These are going to be held virtually, or online, and the phone number to call would be 800-346-6018."

She adds that the college is looking ahead to the Fall Semester.  "We're keeping all options open at this point in time.  We plan that we will all be in a face to face ability by the time our classes start in the fall.  If not, we'll again feature our current tech ed students on campus, arts and science classes would be held remotely."

A number of scholarship opportunities are available.
