State Senator From NW Iowa To Seek Republican Nomination For 4th District Congressional Seat In 2020
(Hull)-- A northwest Iowa legislator today (Wed.) announced his intention of seeking the Republican nomination in Iowa's 4th Congressional District in 2020.
State Senate Assistant Majority Leader and Ways and Means Committee Chairman Randy Feenstra made the announcement, saying he would provide a strong voice to help protect and advance a conservative agenda. He says securing borders, balancing the federal budget, simplifying the tax structure and supporting job creators are among his priorities.
A former EMT and Sioux County Treasurer, Senator Feenstra and his wife, Lynette, live in Hull with their four children. Prior to serving in an elected capacity, Feenstra worked seven years with the Foreign Candy Company. He also serves on the Village Northwest Unlimited Board, is the Treasurer of the local Kiwanis club and is a business professor at Dordt College.
