Spencer Police Looking For Fugitive

(Spencer)-- Spencer police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a fugitive.

The suspect, 25-year-old Justin Michael Albright of Sioux City, was last seen running northbound from the 200 block of 12 Avenue West in Spencer around 6:30 this (Thurs.) morning.

Police say Albright is wanted on numerous warrants and is facing additional charges from Spencer police.

At about 2:16 am this (Thurs.) morning, Spencer police attempted to pull over a 2004 Dodge Intrepid for erratic driving in the area of West 18th Street and Country Club Drive in Spencer that was being driven by Albright. Police say Albright refused to stop and led officers on a pursuit that went southbound on Country Club Drive and continued eastbound on West 11th Street. The pursuit turned southbound on 11th Avenue West where it collided with a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of West 4th Street. 

Police say Albright fled the scene and was later located by a homeowner hiding in a garage at 205 12 Avenue West. He remained at large as of 9:30 am this (Thurs.) morning. 

A female passenger in Albright's vehicle sustained numerous facial injuries as a result of the accident and was taken to Spencer Hospital where she was treated and released. 

Albright was last seen with numerous facial injuries as a result of the accident. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt. Authorities say he also has sleeve tattoos.
