Spencer Man Convicted Of Attempted Burglary & Going Armed With Intent Sentenced In Federal Court
(Sioux City)-- A Spencer man... convicted last year of attempted burglary and going armed with intent... has now been sentenced in federal court for illegal re-entry.
Twenty-two year-old Francisco Ransaure-Jacome was sentenced to 18 months’ imprisonment to be followed by one year of supervised release on one count of illegal reentry. The sentence was imposed last month.
In February of last year, Ransaure-Jacome was convicted of attempted burglary, assault with a dangerous weapon (a knife), and assaulting a fellow inmate at the Clay County jail. He received two two-year sentences, to be served consecutively on those charges.
