Spencer Hospital Implementing Restrictions On Visitors Effective Immediately
(Spencer)-- Spencer Hospital is putting restrictions on visitors in light of the COVID19, or Novel Coronavirus pandemic. Effective immediately, only primary caregivers are allowed to visit or accompany a patient. Those primary caregivers must also be free of illness such as fever, sore throat, cough, diarrhea, vomiting or running nose. Primary caregivers include but are not limited to parents/stepparents, a spouse or significant other and the patient's regular caregiver.
In addition, visiting caregivers or visitors who are allowed under exceptions must follow specific requirements, and their movement in the facility will be restricted.
Officials with Spencer Hospital say the restrictions are temporary and “subject to change as necessary”.
