Festival of Trees modified due to new Public Health Measures

The Festival of Trees is underway in Spencer, however modifications had to be made.

Clay County Heritage Executive Director Stephanie Horsley explains.  "Because of the new public health measures, Arts on Grand and Clay County Heritage had to make some changes with the Festival of Trees.  We do have trees available at our gallery at Clay County Heritage so you can still come and view those with your mask and social distancing.  That is actually open until December 17th, and those trees will be on the silent auction.  We had to cancel the Christmas Afternoon Tea that would have taken place Saturday, November 21 and then for our Evening Christmas Gala Friday, December 4, that is now virtual."

She notes that other festival events have been changed as well.  "Saturday, December 5, the Morning with Santa is now a Wave with Santa.  Santa will be at the Parker Museum at 300 East 3rd Street, and you can drive by and wave at Santa and get some goodies while you do that.  That's just going to be to be between 10 and 11 a.m.  We had to move our Tour of Homes virtual, as well."
