Southwest Minnesota Collision Sends One Person To The Hospital

(Windom)-- A two-vehicle collision Friday on Highway 60 near Windom sent one person to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 33-year-old Fred Youboty of Sioux Falls was driving a 2010 Chevrolet and 53-year-old Lewellyn Gerard Shutz of Windom was driving a 2003 Dodge Dakota. Troopers say both vehicles were traveling northeast when they collided. The impact caused the vehicle driven by Youboty to roll into the ditch.

Youboty was taken by ambulance to the Windom hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The collision took place a little after 8:30 am.

The Jackson and Cottonwood County Sheriff's Offices and Windom ambulance assisted on the scene.
