Southern Minnesota Crashes Result In Minor Injuries

(Truman, Mn.)-- One person was injured Tuesday in a two vehicle collision Tuesday in Martin county of southern Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2017 Ford driven by 54-year-old Daniel Espeland of Truman was northbound on Highway 15 and a 2014 Chevrolet driven by a 17-year-old had stopped at an intersection and pulled into the path of the vehicle driven by Espeland.

Espeland was taken to a Fairmont hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No injuries were reported to the other driver.

(Mountain Lake, Mn.)-- A collision Tuesday in Cottonwood county of southwest Minnesota sent one person to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 71-year-old Mary Goertzen of Mountain Lake was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox southbound on a county road and 64-year-old Duane Lande of Lake Park, Minnesota was driving a 2008 Volvo semi westbound on Highway 60 when the two collided in the intersection.

Goertzen was taken to the Windom hospital; no injuries were reported to Lande.
