Southern Minnesota Crash Injures A Northwest Iowa Man

(Blue Earth, Mn.)-- A northwest Iowa man was injured in a single vehicle crash Sunday on Interstate 90 in southern Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 30-year-old Nicholas Sorenson of Dickens was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado westbound when the vehicle left the road. It collided with a barbed wire fence, drove through a soybean field, and then vaulted a gravel road.

Sorenson was taken to United Hospital in Blue Earth with what was described as non-life threatening injuries.

The crash took place around 11:20 am.
