Southern Minnesota Collision Injures Four

(Lewisville, Mn.)-- A two-vehicle collision Saturday in southern Minnesota sent four people to the hospital. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Highway 15 just south of Lewisville in Watonwan county.

Troopers say 19-year-old Cheyenne Hodge of Truman was driving a 2013 Dodge Avenger and had stopped to make a left turn when a 1998 Toyota Rav 4 driven by 20-year-old Hunter Mikulina of Fairmont collided with the rear of her vehicle.

Hodge was taken to Mayo Health System Hospital in St. James; Mikulina, along with two passengers in Hodge's vehicle, 16-year-old Britney Boaz and 18-year-old Alexa Boaz, both of Fairmont, were taken to the Mayo Health System Hospital in Fairmont.

Severe damage was reported to the vehicles.
