Some Major Road Projects Are Scheduled For This Summer In SW Minnesota
(Fairmont, Mn.)-- Several major road projects are on the docket for this summer in portions of southern Minnesota.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says 16 miles of Interstate 90 from Highway 15 at Fairmont to the Blue Earth River will be re-surfaced, along with a 13 mile stretch of Highway 4 from west of St. James to Highway 15.
Plans also call for replacement of the Front Street Bridge in New Ulm, along with construction of a new interchange at Highways 14 and 15 and County Road 21.
The projects are among 221 across Minnesota scheduled for 2019.
