Sioux County Traffic Stop Results In Arrests Of Two People From Estherville

(Orange City)-- A traffic stop Monday in Sioux county resulted in the arrests of two people from Estherville. The Sioux County Sheriff's Office says the stop was conducted on Highway 18 in Hull. Upon investigating, a deputy discovered the driver, 40-year-old John Campbell of Estherville, had a suspended driver's license, and that he and a passenger, 31-year-old Haley Hansen of Estherville, were wanted on Emmet county warrants. The deputy also discovered what's alleged to be illegal drugs in the vehicle.
Campbell was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated or drugged, possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, and for the outstanding warrant.
Hansen was arrested for possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and for the outstanding warrant.
